Published Ahead of Print is the term we use to denote publication of materials in Radiology Online in advance of their appearance in the printed version of the Journal. It was implemented with the November 2001 issue of Radiology. With this feature, scientific material becomes available to our readers as much as six weeks in advance of print. When the printed issue of Radiology is mailed, articles published online before print move to the current issue. Readers should be aware that we publish online before print only the same version of the article that will appear in print, namely, the final version that has been peer reviewed, revised, edited, and approved by the authors. We do not publish "updated" or "corrected" versions of articles. We encourage our readers to take advantage of Published Ahead of Print by reviewing Radiology Online for published information in advance of the monthly printed version of the Journal.
