Eccentric polyposis of the small bowel. A possible radiologic sign of plexiform neurofibromatosis of the small bowel and its mesentery

Eccentric polyposis was demonstrated on the small bowel series in a patient with Von Recklinghausen's disease. This proved to represent plexiform neurofibromatosis of the small bowel and its mesentery. This unique radiographic appearance may be a radiologic sign of plexiform neurofibromatosis.
