Skin reactions with iocetamic acid

ML Janower and MA Hannon

Four cases of severe skin reactions to the use of iocetamic acid as a contrast medium are reported. Although the incidence of this type of reaction was relatively small (1.8%), its severity induced the authors to discontinue the use of this medium.
