Comparison of the image quality of 105mm film with conventional film

J Skucas and JW Gorski

The contrast, resolution, geometric, and motion unsharpness, mottle, and overall impression of 105mm film were compared to these quantities in conventional spot film. It is believed that conventional filming is superior for low contrast objects and cooperative patients whereas with uncooperative, obese patients, the 105mm filming modality would decrease motion unsharpness.
