Proper shielding method for dynamic vertex cranial imaging

The shielding requirements for dynamic vertex cranial imaging with a scintillation camera have led to the development of a new shielding device which eliminates Compton scattered false counts by shielding both the camera detector and the cranium from extracranial activity and has proved to be effective and easy to use in actual clinical practice.
