Osteochondritis of the tarsal navicula: radioisotopic appearances

A case of Kohler's disease of the tarsal navicula is described as presenting with swelling, tenderness, and hyperthermia of the right foot. Scintigraphy revealed decreased uptake in the right midtarsal area. The ability of the pinhole collimator to image these tiny bones is demonstrated.
