The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) is pleased to announce that Theodore T. Miller, MD, has been selected as the 2001 Editorial Fellow. This is the 4th year an RSNA Editorial Fellowship has been awarded.

The fellowship is 1 month in duration. For 2 weeks, Dr Miller will work closely with Radiology Editor Anthony V. Proto, MD, in his office in Richmond, Va. Dr Miller will also spend 3 days at the RadioGraphics office in Washington, DC, and 3 days with the publications, advertising, and marketing and communications staff at RSNA headquarters in Oak Brook, Ill. During the final week of his fellowship, Dr Miller will work with the RSNA editors at the RSNA Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, which will be held in Chicago, Ill, from November 25 through November 30.

Dr Miller was born in New York, NY. He earned his BA degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and his MD degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn. Dr Miller then returned to New York to complete his internship in pathology at the New York Hospital; his residency in radiology at Mt Sinai Hospital, where he was chief resident from 1991 to 1992; and his fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Dr Miller remains in New York, where he is the chief of musculoskeletal radiology at the North Shore–Long Island Jewish Health System and an associate professor of clinical radiology at New York University School of Medicine. He is also the director of the North Shore Imaging Associates, the outpatient imaging facility for the Department of Radiology at North Shore University Hospital.

He is a manuscript reviewer for Radiology, RadioGraphics, Arthritis and Rheumatism, Journal of Clinical Ultrasound, and Skeletal Radiology. He has also been an Education Exhibit reviewer for the past 3 years at the RSNA Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting.

Dr Miller has lectured frequently, and he has authored more than 30 scientific articles, a book on musculoskeletal imaging, and eight book chapters. His research interests include imaging of the knee, shoulder, and elbow; musculoskeletal trauma; and musculoskeletal sonography. He also developed a patented temporary vena cava filter.
