A 46-year-old man presented with a history of dysuria and gross hematuria of 3 weeks duration. Physical examination findings were normal. The white and red blood cell counts were normal. Urinalysis showed pyuria and hematuria, but all urine cultures were negative for bacteria. Ultrasonography of the urinary bladder and contrast materialenhanced computed tomography were performed (Figs 1, 2).
