Automated Generation of Curved Planar Reformations from Volume Data: Method and Evaluation

Movie. The user can interactively rotate the curved planar reformation through 360o (in 1o intervals) about the median axis. This allows review of the whole cross-sectional profile of the vessel along its length. This curved planar reformation shows a complex ulcerative plaque in the left common iliac artery. With the ability to review in 360o, the user can easily appreciate the configuration of this lesion.
