Mitral Regurgitation: Quantification with 16–Detector Row CT

Movie. Cine loop of beating heart in long axis of LV (generated from 20 CT data sets in 5% steps of the R-R interval) shows one heart cycle starting at the R wave of the electrocardiogram. Incomplete leaflet coaptation during systole in a 60-year-old man with moderate mitral regurgitation with thickening of valve leaflets and tendinous cords is seen.
