Table E2. Image Quality of the Aortoiliac and Renal Arteries as Assessed by Two Independent Readers on Conventional and Fast MR Angiographic Images in 40 Patients

Table E2

Note.—Grade 1, not visible (no diagnostic information can be obtained from the images); 2, poor visibility (image quality of vessel is degraded by low signal intensity and motion-induced blurring artifacts); 3, moderate visibility (image quality of vessel is degraded by low signal intensity or motion-induced blurring artifacts); 4, good visibility (high signal intensity and slight motion-induced blurring artifacts); 5, excellent visibility (high signal intensity, no motion-induced blurring artifacts). P values < .0028 are considered statistically significant after Bonferroni correction. MRA = MR angiography.

Table E3. Performance of Conventional and Fast MR Angiography Compared with Digital Subtraction Angiography as Assessed by Two Independent Readers in the Detection of Hemodynamically Significant Stenoses in 40 Patients

Table E3

Note.—Numbers in parentheses are 95% confidence intervals. FN = false negative, FP = false positive, MRA = MR angiography, NPV = negative predictive value, PPV = positive predictive value, R1 = Reader 1, R2 = Reader 2, TN = true negative, TP = true positive.
