Use of two-segment image reconstruction at 64-section CT coronary angiography overall results in equal diagnostic accuracy and similar image quality compared with those at single-segment reconstruction; at a heart rate as high as 82–97 beats per minute, image quality is significantly higher, so routine use of segmented reconstruction algorithms in patients with arrhythmia or tachycardia appears recommendable.

Compared with body-array coil MR imaging at 3 T, endorectal coil (ERC) MR imaging at 3 T significantly improved image quality and, combined with higher spatial resolution, significantly increased the localization and staging performance for the experienced radiologists and the less experienced radiologist who participated in a short training course about reading images of the prostate obtained with ERC MR imaging at 3 T prior to assignment of scores.
