RSNA Online SUBSCRIBER HELP & SERVICES:
Frequently Asked Questions
about Individual Non-Member Subscriptions

  1. I'm a subscriber to RSNA journals in print, and I want access to RSNA Journals Online. Do I have to pay for this?

No, as a subscriber to RSNA journals in print, you may access the journals online simply by using your username and password.

  2. Will I receive a password? May I share my password with friends, or is use limited solely to me?

Yes, when you complete the subscription process, you will receive a user name and a password. You are the only one licensed to use this password.

  3. What if I forget my password?

You can retrieve or change your password at RSNA Login

  4. Why should I access RSNA Journals Online?

Individual non-member subscribers have access to:
tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full-text display, online-only articles, PDFs, downloads of figures to PowerPoint slides for teaching purposes, links to Medline and GenBank, future tables of contents, CiteTrack, document delivery, and the advantage of having password access to RSNA Journals Online from any computer connected to the Internet.

  5. How can I tell if my institution has subscribed?

If your institution subscribes to the print editions, it will be a subscriber to the online editions as well. You can access the journals from the institution's computers; you'll see a button at the top of the page confirming you're signed in as part of an institution.

  6. How do I get my institution to subscribe?

If your institution does not have a subscription to the print editions, it can still subscribe to the online editions. If you would like your institution to have an institutional subscription, please contact your local librarian.

  7. Will I still be able to get the print editions? And for how long?

Yes, individuals and institutions will continue to be able to receive the print editions for the foreseeable future.

  8. Who is eligible for individual non-member subscriptions?

Individual non-member subscriptions are available to individuals, providing them with both the print and online editions of the journals or just the online editions. Non-members may also have access to RSNA Journals Online through an institutional subscription. Institutional subscriptions are somewhat more limited than individual subscriptions. Special member services are not available to non-member subscribers. Full-text access away from the institution's network (eg, home access) is available only to individual and Institution Plus subscribers.

  9. How can I access RSNA Journals Online if I am not an RSNA member and I don't have access through an institutional subscription?

You may wish to apply for RSNA membership or purchase an individual non-member subscription, which provides access to the online editions. Without a subscription you have access to tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, and full text more than one year old at no cost.

  10. How do I become a member of the RSNA?

Information about RSNA membership and application forms are available from the RSNA.
